The Stars have steadily climbed into first place after their opening season defeat. The game Saturday was a mere formality. Ashland was a very weak team and the Stars rolled them 7-1. The coaches changed the line-up such that every girl was playing a new position. It was great for each player to have a new experience. Sage had to play the game in cleats that were too big as she left hers at school. Good thing the team did not need her scoring prowess. Next game is 10:30 Saturday 5/16 vs Milford at Haskell. It will be a very competitive game as Milford tied the Stars 3-3 previously.
