Stars back in Rhythym

Sage's soccer team came to life shutting out a very good Southboro team 3-0 tonight.  It was Sage's best game of the year.  Her high energy and focus fed good plays.  She scored early in the first half on a break-a-way.  After shaking one defender she blasted the ball into the upper corner. In the second half, she anchored the defense with a great effort.  Twice she stepped into a shot that the goalie was not going to stop.  She also rocketed a goal kick out to the striker who almost scored.
This moves the Stars to 2-1-1 and in sole possession of second place.  Next game is Saturday against Ashland in Sudbury.
