Finally a ski trip west of Maryland... after almost 30 years of skiing, I can rightfully say that I have skied a western resort. Kristin and I escaped for a weekend at Whistler in British Columbia Canada. We were greeted with fresh powder both days and truly experienced the thrill of first tracks. Whistler is hosting the alpine skiing events at next year's winter. We skied the men's downhill run and it looks terrifying.
