By now, everyone is wondering... well can they swim? And what about mushrooms and peppers? Sage's science project has addressed the question that enquiring minds want to know... which fruits and vegetables have a density that is less than the buoyant force of water. Sage presented the physics of buoyancy, but also entertained the crowd with stories of Archimedes and the Chinese prodigy Cao Chong. You will need to ask Sage if you want the whole story. She did a great job on this year's project.
Maybe next year Dad will finally get to build that volcano he saw in the Brady Bunch.
