Dynasty Starts a New Chapter

Sage's soccer team finally got its season off on Friday afternoon. Under crystal blue skies and warm sun, Sudbury welcomed Weston to Haskell Field. The Dynasty got off to a fast start and held the 1-0 lead at halftime. The game took a dramatic turn after halftime, with 6 goals scored in the period. Fortunately, Sudbury owned 3 of them and escaped with a 4-3 victory.

Sage played the left wing and also took a rotation in goal. She didn't allow a single goal while manning the net. Her best effort came during her last rotation as she had two excellent break-a-ways and shots. She did assist on the final game winning goal.

Next game is not for a couple of weeks as Sage will be riding the MS bike-a-thon and then vacationing in North Conway NH. Hopefully the Dynasty can survive while she is away.
