Sage Spring Recital

This past Saturday was Sage's Spring Recital. This was her fourth recital. All the lessons are given by Sage's maternal grandmother, Gigi. This recital has a singer's choice theme and Sage choose to sing 'It is You (I have Loved)' from the Shrek sound track. Still, close your eyes and listen to the melody... she did a great job!

Ants Ants Ants

There is a bright side to this story... Last Friday, Sage and a group of her friends were spoken to by the teacher at recess. Allegedly, they were busted for eating ants. Since 'Eating of Ants' is not listed in the school conduct guides, the teacher chose to inform the parents. This is where it gets interesting.... Dad to Sage " Do you have something to tell me about school today?" Sage "No" Dad "do you have something to tell me about recess at school today?" Sage "We got in trouble for eating ants." Dad " And who's brilliant idea was it to eat ants?" Sage "well.... it was a girl who's name begins with S and ends with E" Dad "How many kids were involved?" Sage " Eight, including boys!" At this point, I stopped the interrogation and paused... She had convinced eight kids to eat ants on the playground... She clearly has leadership skills and may have a bright future in sales and marketing!
